NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is looking to employ two enthusiastic pharmacists with experience of community pharmacy practice for the new role of Foundation Professional Support Pharmacist (FPSP).
The Professional Support Pharmacist will ensure the completion of the new community Foundational Vocational Training programme by Foundation Pharmacists (FPs) who will start their training in early implementer/pilot practices from 1st Sept 2017. These FPs will complete their training through the completion of a competency framework and development of evidence within the NES e portfolio.
Based in the East and North region, these exciting new roles will be over 2-3 days per month, involving actively supporting these new Foundation Pharmacists.
Successful candidates will be given training and be part of the NES VT Foundation team. NES Pharmacy is an RPS accredited Foundation School.
This role will involve extensive travelling within the specified region. To facilitate development of the role, participation in meetings/working groups and other aspects of the programme will be expected.
