Pharmacy Name: Ashludie Pharmacy

Monifieth Pharmacy Ltd is an independently owned business with 2 pharmacies both located in Monifieth, Angus. We are truly an independent community pharmacy as both pharmacies are unopposed and situated in the heart of this expanding community.

We are currently looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and passionate Pharmacist Manager to join our successful team. Depending on experience, or applicant preference, the position will be available in either one of our two pharmacies. Ashludie Pharmacy is a modern purpose-built Health Centre Pharmacy and Troup Pharmacy is a typical High Street pharmacy with a new modern dispensary. The ideal candidate should display strong leadership skills, is commercially aware and extremely passionate in the services they provide, ensuring excellent customer care is given to each and every one of our customers. The ideal candidate will have the drive to be proactive in delivering the National Contract by providing an array of services in a busy community pharmacy.

Ideally, an experienced Pharmacy Manager would be desirable, but applications from all qualified pharmacists will be considered.

Each pharmacy is well supported by a team of dedicated staff, including ACT, and offers the following services: EMAS, CMS, EHC, GFFS, palliative care, smoking cessation and supervised consumption. We also offer a “flu” vaccination service and training will be provided if needed.

The working hours each week will be 40 hours and both pharmacies close for lunch. A regular Saturday off will be offered. Alternating Saturday afternoons off will also be available as one of the pharmacies closes half a day.

We are seeking an individual who embraces change and is able to support an existing team with new and existing business initiatives. You will take ownership of the business, have a positive “can do” attitude, promote and deliver services within the team and provide a great customer experience within the pharmacy. We believe in giving our Pharmacist Managers as much autonomy and responsibility for managing their pharmacy as possible. We recognise that responding to local needs is where you and your support team can really make a difference. However, you are not alone and have the daily support of The Owner/Superintendent who lives in close proximity to both pharmacies.

In return we offer you:

  • A competitive salary package
  • Pension Scheme with contributions from the Company
  • GPhC fees paid
