We are a small family run group of 7 Pharmacies, 5 in the Scottish Borders and 2 in East Lothian. We aim to be the “go to” local pharmacies in our region. We have modern bright environments to work in with ample qualified support staff to get the care and attention to our patient’s right.
Gaining experience in the various branches you will soon be ready to manage one of the branches and develop great links with the local primary care teams and our patients too. We have excellent managers who will be only too happy to pass on their experience and support you in your role with the company.
The 7 shops are very different in nature and the post gives you an opportunity to see rural Pharmacy in Greenlaw and Pharmacy in an expanding town such as Haddington. Our Duns branch has two consultation room and a Consis robot.
A competitive salary in offered, your GPhC fees paid, and the Company operates a pension scheme.
We also offer the Pharmacist a recently modernised 2 bedroom flat in Duns at a low rental which is available from 1st October, to enable moving to the Borders as easy as possible for you.
Duns has a variety of sports on offer such as rugby, (25 Metre Swimming pool) an 18 hole golf course and active running and cycling clubs locally.
Our ideal Candidate
You will need to be registered with the GPhC and have your own transport. Be willing to keep up the date and to take on new challenges such as Clozapine patient management, driving on the progress with CMS serial dispensing and the regular patient facing services of busy pharmacies. NHS Borders operates a medication review service within community pharmacies which offers a clinical challenge for the pharmacist and chance to build relationships with patients.
I am happy to discuss this post further with any interested Pharmacist, phone Duns Pharmacy on 01361 883753 or George on 07702 312105.
