What you'll do
The NES Pharmacy team is looking to appoint a Practice Educator to commence work in support of the new Community Pharmacy Service for Minor Ailments and Common Conditons. This post is linked closely to Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care for developments in Community Pharmacy. You will support the development and delivery of educational support for the implementation of this new national service which is due to commence in all 1257 community pharmacies in Scotland in April 2020. The initial engagement of the post is to March 2020, with potential extension.
What you'll bring
You will be a qualified pharmacist,preferably with a prescribing qualification. You will have a proven range of experience in delivery of pharmaceutical care within community pharmacy services. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain highly effective relations internally and externally with a wide range of healthcare staff and stakeholders is key. Evidence of leadership skills at a senior level are also essential.
