We are establishing an Advanced Pharmacist Assessment Panel (APAP) to support our assessment and credentialing activities at advanced level and we are recruiting for members who currently hold an advanced or consultant level pharmacy post in the UK, and have held this post for at least 12 months, to join this panel. We would be grateful if you could promote and share this email with your networks with people who may meet the criteria.

The role of the APAP member is to provide oversight of the academic and operational quality delivery of the RPS advanced level credentialing assessments. The scope of this panel will be divided into 2 phases:

  • The first phase covers consultant pharmacist individual and post credentialing activities only
  • The second phase will be expanded when advanced credentialing activities are ready in later 2021

The panel will virtually meet up three times a year. We are currently looking for various members to join the panel including the following:

  • Community pharmacy representative
  • Primary care representative
  • Hospital pharmacy representative
  • England representative
  • Wales representative
  • Scotland representative
  • Pharmacists with education / assessment expertise
  • Co-opted member from Education & Standards Committee
  • Non-pharmacist clinical representative (at appropriate level of practice)
  • External examiner representative
