Permanent Role - Full-Time or Part Time opportunity available

Gordons Chemists is Northern Ireland’s largest Independent Pharmacy chain, with 54 stores throughout Northern Ireland and 9 stores in Scotland.

We are looking to recruit a Pharmacist to join an established and efficient team and work alongside the Pharmacy Manager. The successful candidate will be required to consistently provide exceptional high levels of customer service and have the ability to work as a team within a busy community pharmacy.

The position is based at 26-30 Charlotte Street, Wigtownshire, Stranraer, DG9 7EF. The opening hours of the store are Monday to Saturday 9.00am to 5.30pm.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package including: pension, GPhC fees paid, 25 days holiday plus statutory days and 20% staff discount.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified pharmacist - Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Previous experience within Community Pharmacy
• Proficient in pharmacy computer systems and Microsoft applications
• An up to date knowledge of changes within pharmacy
• Enthusiastic with excellent leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Provide an excellent level of customer service and patient care
• Full driving licence and access to car
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Flexibility to work in other branches if required

Desirable Requirements:

• 1 year qualified pharmacist - Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Previous management experience within a busy community pharmacy

This is a permanent position suitable for those seeking either Full Time or Part Time hours. Applicants ideally must be available to work Monday to Saturday as required per Pharmacy rota.
